Ashley Howard

Ashley Howard “Great Hair is A Journey That Starts With Great Scissors”

MD, Hairdresser and designer of the Scissorhands product range.

You could say that Ashley Howard definitely has running a hairdressing salon business in his blood having grown up in his father’s busy hairdressing salon with over 100 years family know how.

From the early days of being the Saturday trainee, through to training under his father, Ashley qualified in Advanced Hairdressing and become a salon manager at the age of 18. By 28 he was working overseas as a technician and hairdressing salon trainer for the L’Oreal group, working with some of the biggest names in the business. That’s when Ashley began the best part of his education; seeing what the most successful hairdressing salon businesses were doing to become so successful and teaching young hairdressers how to become brilliant stylists.

By 2006 Ashley had created his own European retail brand, which he sold in 2009 to focus his attention on becoming the industry leading expert in scissor ergonomics, design and production…and improved Haircutting Hence Scissorhands was born.

Ashley now dedicates his time to helping salon professionals and other scissor retailers to build successful and profitable businesses, combining skills and technology with our “Balance “Technique is his passion

Linda Howard

Operations Director

Our head of Customer Service/Support and After Sales. With a wealth of experience in hotel and travel management, she understands fully how the client experience should feel, from start to finish and is focussed on clients wellbeing.

She loves dealing with all our hairdressing and salon clients, both at exhibitions and every single member of the Scissorhands family.

Krystina Smith

Finance and Marketing Manager

Kryssie has a wealth of experience  in, both Finance and Business, alongside Events Coordination and Marketing.

She looks after all our financial day to day running of our Client Contracts, so you can contact her regularly should you wish to discuss or update your account. She is extremely excited to be working within the World of Hairdressing, as it’s one of her passions. For that reason. Kryssie is looking after our Social media too and is keeping abreast of the constant changes within the Industry.
