Sharpening & Repair

Accidents do happen, and when it comes to your hairdressing-barbering scissors we understand the importance of getting your blades back to their best condition quickly.

Choosing Scissorhands UK for repairs, or annual service means that we will get your scissors back (as closely as possible) to their original condition from our factory specification workshop.

Receiving scissors from all over the World, some of the biggest names in the industry ie Fudge and Vidal Sassoon use Scissorhands UK as their approved warranty service centre.

FAQ`s

  • How often should I re-sharpen my scissors?
    8-12 month s ie 600 -800 haircuts. We recommend a minimum of once a year (unless they are dropped or otherwise damaged) ie keeping them in peak condition and adds to their lifespan.

  • How does it work?
    Complete the form 'Repar Request Form' below, we will contact you to arrange your sharpening or repair and then you simply need to pop your scissor into a padded envelope along with a cheque for £35 (£25 for existing customers) to;

    Please enclose a brief note telling us about your scissor and include your return address and a contact phone number.

  • What happens next?
    We take apart and rebuild your scissors. They undergo all the processes they did when they were built at the factory and your scissors will now feel like new. We aim to get the scissors back to you within 5 working days as we post out every Tuesday and Friday.
